Join us at TEACH THE WORD 2017 for a day of worship, fellowship and Bible teaching for all the family.
Teach the Word is national conference hosted by Calvary Chapel UK, bringing together churches from across England & Wales. Our vision for the conference is simple: to equip and encourage believers through the teaching of God’s Word; and to promote fellowship & unity amongst churches and believers across the the UK.
The conference is FREE to attend and is OPEN TO ALL!
In addition to the main teaching sessions, there will be a creche (ages 2-4) and a full programme for children and youth.
So bring your kids, invite your friends, and be blessed as we worship, fellowship and study God’s Word together!
1 THESS 3:1-9, by Bryce Heard
1 THESS 4:1-8 by Rob Dingman
1 THESS 5:12-22 by Barry Forder
Main Session Speakers:
Panel Q&A Discussion:
Phil Vickery (moderator), Dave Sylvester, Bob Claycamp, Doug Keen, Bob Forder and Joey Rozek
A special play area with toys located at the rear of the Main Hall will be available for parents with babies and toddlers.
This year we will be providing a creche for children aged 2-4, which will be available during all the main reaching sessions. Please note: in the unlikely event the creche is oversubscribed, places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
A full program is available for children. There will be two sessions: a morning session; and an afternoon session, which will cover all the main teaching sessions. Your kids will have a great time with our experienced Children’s Ministry team!
We also have a dedicated Youth programme running throughout the day.
Admission is FREE and refreshments (tea, coffee, water and biscuits) will also be provided free of charge.
Lunch will NOT be provided and we strongly recommend bringing a packed lunch. There are shops, pubs and a McDonalds in the area, but with Saturday traffic, even a short drive can take a while! So we strongly recommend you bring a packed lunch.
Important Note about Car Parking: There are only a limited number of car parking spaces are available at the venue which will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. We cannot guarantee a parking space for everyone at the venue. If you are coming by car, we would strongly encourage you to car share where possible, and to use the nearby Park & Ride facility (details available here). Parking attendants will present on site to assist you when you arrive.
The Conference will be live streamed right here at calvarychapel.uk/ttw/live. So if you can’t join us in person, you can still be part of the Conference by watching online!
The main teaching sessions will be recorded and both audio and video will be made available free of charge via calvarychapel.uk in the weeks following the conference.
Please contact us via email and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
