Teach the Word returns on Saturday 25th June 2022 at the King’s Centre, Oxford!
Teach the Word is CCUK’s annual national conference for all the family! Join with people from across the country for a day of worship and Bible teaching, with a creche, and a full programme for children & youth.
The conference is FREE to attend, but registration is required.
Doors will be open from 9am, and we strongly encourage you to arrive early! On-site parking is limited, and we recommend using the nearby Park & Ride facility (full details below).
Tea, coffee, pastries will be availble upon arrival, and throughout the day - free of charge. But please remember to bring a packed lunch!
The Conference will begin promptly at 10.30am.
Please note: unfortunately there is currently a rail strike planned for Saturday. We understand there will still be trains running to and from Oxford Station, but services will be very limited. If you were planning on coming by train, please check if your train is still running!Refreshments will be provided free of charge, but please bring your own lunch!

LUNCH & REFRESHMENTS
Refreshments (Tea, coffee, pastries & biscuits etc) will be provided upon arrival and during all break times (free of charge).
BUT REMEMBER: BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH! We strongly recommend bringing a packed lunch as there are no food options in the immediate vicinity of the King’s Centre. You can drive somewhere near by, but Saturday traffic can mean short distances taking longer than expected!

CHILDREN & YOUTH
IMPORTANT: ALL CHILDREN FOR CRECHE & KIDS MINISTRY MUST BE REGISTERED UPON ARRIVAL AT THE VENUE. The registration table will be in the Atrium (lobby), and will be open from 9.30am
Please read the following, as the different groups have different schedules.
> STAY & PLAY (Under 2's) - Thames Hall
The Stay & Play is an enclosed, unsupervised, soft play area at back of Main Hall for children age 0-1. Parents are welcome to use this area so they can still be part of the conference, but must supervise their own children. Alternatively, parents can stay with their child in the Creche (Cherwell Room).
> CRECHE (Ages 2-4)
Note: You can drop off/collect your child at any point while creche is open. You are also welcome to stay with your child in the creche if you wish to do so:
IN THE MORNING:
> the creche will open at 10.15am (15mins before conference starts)
> the creche will close for lunch (please collect children promptly at start of lunch break)
IN THE AFTERNOON:
> the creche will open at 1.50pm (10mins before afternoon session starts)
> the creche will close at the end of the conference (please collect your child promptly when conference ends).
> CHILDREN’S MINISTRY (Ages 5-11):
IN THE MORNING:
> The Children’s Ministry opens after morning worship.
> Children (age 5+) will join with the adults for morning worship and will be released before the start of the first teaching session. Parents will not need to drop children off - the Children’s Ministry Team will collect the children from the the Atrium (lobby)
> The Children’s Ministry will close for lunch.
> You will need to collect your child from the Cotswold Hall promptly at the start of the lunch break
IN THE AFTERNOON:
> The Children’s Ministry will open at 1.50pm (10mins before the afternoon sessions starts).
> Please drop your child off at the Cotswold Hall
> The Children’s Ministry will close at the end of the conference.
> Please collect your child promptly when conference ends.
> YOUTH (age 12-17)
We have a separate programme running all day for the Youth - a Youth Conference within the Main Conference. The Youth will have their own sessions in the Hinksey Room, but will join with the adults for mornings praise and worship, and for session 3 (after lunch).
A separate Youth Programme will be available on the day.

TRAVEL & PARKING INFORMATION
**We strongly encourage everyone to arrive at the venue as early as possible and to car share where they can. Doors open from 9am, and tea, coffee, and pastries will be available upon arrival!

> TRAVEL BY TRAIN:
The King’s Centre is just a 10–15 minute walk, or 5 minute taxi ride, from the main Oxford rail station in Oxford city centre. Taxi's are always available outside the train station.
> TRAVEL BY CAR:
>> Venue Car Park: There is a limited number of parking spaces available in the venue car park, and spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. However, the Car Park will fill up early and when it does alternative parking will need to be found. We strongly suggest using the Park & Ride option.
>> Street parking around the venue. There are a number of spaces along the roads surrounding the venue.
>> The SEACOURT PARK & RIDE facility: The Seacourt Park & Ride is located located is just off the A34 Botley Interchange and is less than 5 minutes ride to the venue. You will need to get off at the Osney Island bus stop on Botley Road, from where The King's Centre is just a 5 minute walk.
